Five Star Lumber Co. LLC (FSL) is a family owned pallet company that has been in operation since 1981. FSL manufactures new pallets for our California and Arizona customers in the Produce, Food, Beverage, Consumer Goods and Chemical Industries providing them with the highest quality pallets and great customer service at the lowest possible prices for over thirty years. Our high standards for purchasing lumber and nails, along with our high standards in the manufacturing processes insure our pallets are consistently of the highest quality.

 

FSL services national, large and small companies in regional and local areas from three facilities. Each of our facilities has the latest in automated nailing equipment and long term experienced employees. Our facilities are strategically located as follows:

 

1) Newark, CA. Plant, with 25,000 SF of covered manufacturing space on 4.5 acres of land.

2) Salinas, CA. Plant, with 30,000 SF of covered manufacturing space on 5 acres of land.

3) Yuma, AZ. Plant, with 20,000 SF of covered manufacturing space on 4 acres of land.

 

Our production capacity exceeds four million pallets per year from all of our three facilities combined.

 

All of our facilities collect and separate our wood downfall and send it to recycling companies for use in co-generation fuel and mulch products.

 

All three facilities have rail docks and truck docks. FSL receives wood products from Washington, Oregon, British Columbia, Wisconsin, Missouri and Arkansas.

 

Our Newark CA. and Salinas CA. facilities have also received wood products from South America through the ports of Oakland, CA. and Long Beach, Ca.
